Who Am I?

A willing vessel that is fearfully and wonderfully made by God. A city girl born in Southeast, Washington D.C., left at the age of twelve and now resides in Northern Virginia; the rest is history. The proud wife to my husband of thirty (30) plus years, whom I labor alongside with in ministry and in business for over twenty-two (22) plus years. It’s an honor and a privilege to have my children call me “mom”. And my only grand- daughter Jackie, to call me ‘Gammie’.

A thirty-two (32) plus years veteran in the Cosmetology field, and had decided to hang up my shears in August 2019. I stepped out on faith to see what God has instore for my next venture in life. I am the praise and worship leader in my church and I thoroughly enjoy getting the congregation involved in praising God on one accord. God has allowed me to overcome some challenges in my life such as being a two-time Cancer survivor now thriver - that punched Pancreatic and Breast Cancer in the mouth.

My mission on earth is to evangelize everywhere my feet tread and to spread the Good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Passionately giving comfort to the broken hearted and hopelessness, in sharing my testimony of how good God is to me. Also, my hope is for many to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit through me in a whisper or a sweet aroma smell.

I wake up each day super excited in what God has instore for me and how He will use me. If I didn’t know then, I do know now that I am more then a conqueror in Christ Jesus. I am so blessed that I have the favor of God in my life and with His anointing, the skies are the limits. Where I come from is a story. Where I’m going gives God all the glory.
What may seem impossible for others and to others, but with Him all things are possible.
I exit with this scripture: Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
